The families referred by their Public Health Nurse are eligible to receive support. Support is provided by Christina Orton and Ginny Hennigar, the Community Home Visitors for the child’s first three years. The Home Visitors focus on supporting parents, promoting a healthy parent-child relationship, fostering healthy childhood development and linking families with community resources that further enhance the opportunities for healthy growth and development of the baby and the family as a whole. This program is funded by the Dept. of Health under the ECDI agreement.
